The Salton Sea is shrinking 2.

Here is a new ability of the Google Earth engine. This answers some questions about the Salton Sea that I have had:




The map at the Owens Valley lake is interesting. This shows the red algae during the 1980s and 1990s during the dust storm days. Towards the 2000s you can see the dust mitigation coming in. Imagine having to breath in all of that red algae dust during those 25mph wind storms.
